Welcome to my dance portfolio.

Professionally, my work encompasses the fields of dance, film, art, and design—though as an artist, I find that it is nearly impossible to keep each new creation neatly within its category. My work is an ever-overlapping convergence of artistic fields, so while this portfolio serves to show you my most prominent body of work (in the genre of dance), you will find it encompasses moments of film, art, and design, wherever movement is present.

As a choreographer, I am visually most driven by light, movement, and textiles. Thematically, my work often evokes the concept of connecting with one’s “past self,” achieved through interpersonal connections onstage, duets between dancer and light, and projected film across performers as canvas. It is an underlying current that keeps my creative mind running, whether intentional in its presence or discovered later on, and it has led to the creation of some of my key works, among them: Synchronic; What seems so is transition; Casting Shadows, Tearing Holes; Andromeda; Hush; and The Woolgatherer.

Above all, it is a personal hope of this artist that each viewer finds a piece of themselves inside her work. Whether it comes from visual intrigue, emotional connection, or mental stimulation, my work is most successful when embraced by the viewer on a level as close to them as it is to the creator.

Thank you for entering my world of movement and light, and I look forward to seeing you in the theater soon.
